This is the first and probably most important step you need when using your new web site.
I suggest you bookmark the login page (http://dashboard.townweb.com/) since you will use it often. This is the place where you will need to log in for managing your municipal website.
How to Login to the Dashboard
- Enter your website address in the Website tab. You aren’t required to type in the “https://” or the “www” prefix. You can if you want. It will work either way.
- For the User field, enter in your username. Note that this is usually not going to be your email address. Instead it will be something like “townclerk” or “clerk” or something like that. Your username will already be given to you by your Project Manager or somebody on the Support Team.
- And in the Password field, you can enter your password
- Feel free to click the Remember me checkbox if you want to store your login info into the browser. Only do this if you are not using a public computer or sharing the computer with other users.
I Forgot My Password and/or my Username
If you forgot your password or your username, you can click the Forgot password?link, which allows you to enter your email address. A reset email will be sent to you which allows you to change your password. Make sure to check your spam/bulk folder too if you don’t see your reset email after 30 seconds.
The same email you get will also show you what your username is. You can then try to login with your username if you remember your password. Or you can also reset your password.
